Andrew Reeves, co-founder and executive director of The Valley, has held a number of leadership positions within student ministries since 2013, beginning in his senior year of high school as a small group leader in his church’s youth group. Most notably, he served as the director of Crossroads Community Church’s junior high ministry and currently runs their college and young adult ministry; writing weekly sermons, organizing groups of volunteers, and helping with much of the overall planning and direction of the youth group. Additionally, he serves as a leader in his church’s senior high ministry and assists with tech on occasion for the main worship team. Student ministry was the most important part of his life as a teenager, and he is passionate about providing the same experience for today’s youth that so many others provided for him. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Christian Leadership and Management from Liberty University.

Jessi Reece, co-founder and director of worship ministries, graduated in 2020 with a B.S. in Worship Studies but has been leading worship skillfully and faithfully since her introduction to ministry work in Jr. High. She currently serves as the leader of Crossroads Student Ministry’s worship team, and has also been a consistent member of Crossroads Community Church’s worship team for 12 years. Outside of worship, she serves as one of the leaders of her church’s college ministry and as a leader, mentor, and friend for the students of her church’s senior high ministry. After she answered God’s call into youth ministry, she quickly realized she was put there to be the love, support, and leader she too needed as a student.

Savannah Orr, aka the Graphic Guru, has associate degrees in computer graphic arts and digital photography and a heart of pure gold. Her close friendship, raw talent, and devotion to helping God’s people made her an obvious pick to turn to help for all things graphical and beautiful. As The Valley Camp Ministry continues to move forward, it is obvious her gifts will help make this dream a reality for the benefit of all of the students who walk through our doors.

Danny Sickels joined the team in August of 2021, but has been a steady source of support and encouragement since the inception of The Valley. He serves in Crossroads Community Church’s Jr. High and worship/tech ministries, responding faithfully to every request made of him and meeting every responsibility reliably and joyfully. He graduated from The University of Akron in 2021 with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and has already begun creating menus to make sure the students of The Valley are well fed and energized during their week at camp.

Michaela Anderson has been a massive source of support and encouragement for The Valley since the vision of the camp was first shared with her, and now will be using her gifts to support The Valley as a member of its staff. She graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Economics, minoring in Data Analytics, in 2017. She is naturally caring and empathetic, filling a vital role in the lives of the students she meets through Crossroads Student Ministry. Her talents and personality will make her an invaluable member of the team as we continue to move the ministry forward.
